Dual Fuel Kit For Heavy Earth Moving Machinery (HEMM)

What is Dual Fuel Mobile?

GasTech’s Dual Fuel Kit can be easily retrofitted onto existing HEMM diesel engines, enabling them to
operate with a mixture of diesel and natural gas. In Dual Fuel mode, a reduced amount of diesel is the
ignition pilot for the air-gas mixture. Gas replaces a substantial portion of diesel, producing equivalent power.

Diesel substitution can range from 25% to 70% of the total fuel consumed, depending on the engine
load cycle, usage pattern, etc. Engines converted to Dual Fuel functionality exhibit diesel-like
performance in terms of efficiency, stability, and load acceptance.

Dual Fuel converted engines can still run on diesel as the primary fuel. A state-of-the-art electronic
controller monitors critical engine parameters, ensuring safety and maximizing diesel substitution

Why convert your HEMM to Dual Fuel?

Natural gas is a green fuel. It reduces harmful emissions by up to 50%.

Natural gas is less expensive than diesel, reducing overall fuel costs by up to 25%.

Stricter policies and regulations are mandating Dual Fuel conversion.
